Kimi Ora has a number of delightful bush walks through regenerating native forest.
Expect to be escorted by curious fantails as you wind your way past clear water streams and sign posted native trees and plants.
Each trail takes about 10 minutes at a leisurely walk.
Take a stroll at night by torch light and youll be rewarded with the magical site of glow worms right next to the trail.
Day Stay passes on the weekends are only available as part of our Day packages and are subject to availability.

With our heated indoor pool and refreshing outdoor pool as well as two spa pools you'll be spoilt for choice!

Casual Rates: $35 per person - from 10am to 4pm

Please note: Day Stay passes are for access to the Aquatic Centre, walking trails and guest amenities. Spa treatments are extra.

Kimi Ora is part of the hugely popular Kaiteriteri MTB Park. There is something for everyone with a series of easy to intermediate-grade tracks available through the forest as well as some narrower hand-benched single-track tracks. Hannah Walker is a qualified Kundalini Yoga teacher who trained in Melbourne, Australia in 2017.
Kundalini Yoga is a unique combination of postures, breathwork and meditation which is energising and deeply relaxing.
Hannah teaches body movements and breath exercises to balance the emotions and de-clutter the mind. This simple combination of movement combined with breath is key to creating big change in the body, heart and mind. Listening to, and learning from the breath.
Hannah is a YogaNZ registered Level 2 Yoga Teacher and a member of Kundalini Yoga Teachers Australia & New Zealand (KYTANZ).
Hannah teaches yoga at Kimi Ora every Friday at 4:30pm, and overnight guests can book a complimentary class at reception.

Nataliya Langridge is a certified Yin Yoga instructor with over 20 years of personal yoga practice experience trained in New Zealand in 2019 by internationally renowned instructors.
Yin Yoga offers a lot of benefits to our busy lifestyles, working in office/sitting environments, doing a lot of physical activity and Yang style exercises. Yin Yoga is a slow-paced practice that focuses on holding gentle shapes for an extended period 2-5 mins, allowing for deep tissue stimulation, stretching and relaxation.
During the class, students are guided through a series of Yin Yoga shapes that target the deep connective tissues, promoting flexibility, releasing tension, and restoring balance in both body and mind.
Nataliya teaches Yin Yoga classes at Kimi Ora on Thursdays from 5:30 till 7pm, and occasional Saturdays. Overnight guests can book a complimentary class at reception.
Day guests and visitors are welcome to join Yin Yoga classes and experience the benefits. Classes are $15.
